SITE TESTING

We specialise in site testing of Gas Insulated Systems (GIS) substation switchgear and cables. We have access to a 690 kV variable frequency test set, the largest test generator of its kind on the African continent. The generator is also easy to transport and assemble, making the testing more efficient. The testing we provide is crucial at the commissioning stage after refurbishment or erection of a new substation. It is a confirmation that the substation, or part thereof, is ready for connection onto the grid. Our expert team will be able to assess the individual testing needs of installations and advise on the most suitable test programme, in addition to performing the test itself timeously, reliably and cost effectively.
